Served in an oversized, stemless wine glass
This beer pours like pineapple juice. It is topped with an inch of creamy, off white head that leaves some nice lacing.
I get citrus and tropical fruit in the smell. The two aromas that seem to surface are mango and grapefruit.
The tastes starts out sweet. It is followed by a medley of citrus fruit. Finally, grapefruit steps in and asserts in flavor which lingers into the finish.
Full mouthfeel for an IPA
This is an enjoyable IPA. It has a ton of flavor with a bitterness that a lot of NE style attempts lack. It is a nice interpretation of the style, and it is nice to see Listermann/Triple Digit excel at something other than high gravity, dark beer.
