16 FL OZ can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass
It is described as a New England style black IPA. This beer pours black and is topped with two inches of sticky, tan head that leaves some nice lacing.
The smell is roasted malt and grapefruit.
The taste starts out with roasted malt with light coffee notes. Then I get a little grapefruit followed by tropical fruit. The back half of this beer tastes a lot like a NEIPA. I was skeptical when I read the can. There is no bitterness.
Medium mouthfeel
This is an interesting beer. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but about of a third of the way through I started to like it. I'm not sure that it is an everyday drinker for me, but it is a nice change of pace.
