Poured from a can into a Bruery tulip. Very light orange in color, cloudy, and a rather thin head that isn't well-retained. Very faint nose of orange juice, lemon, pineapple, and a little fresh toast.
Medium body with a nice citrusy flavor and a firm feel. Follows the nose well. Fresh toast, then oranges and pineapples. Very soft bitterness throughout. Not much of a finish, as the hops die off and there's a lingering graininess. Still, very drinkable and refreshing.
I guess this is the same as the regular Fiona beer. I got this one at the release party (celebrating Fiona's first birthday) so I get to drink it fresh. I really don't see an improvement over the can I had last summer that was a few months old. This beer holds up extremely well if properly stored! At any rate, there's always room in my fridge for a nice, drinkable IPA like this. I like it and look forward to reviewing the two variants I got.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
