This beer pours black and is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
Chocolate aroma. Hints of coffee, caramel and vanilla. Occasional whiff of maple.
Chocolate, coffee, caramel and vanilla. I even get some oak at this point in the beer's evolution.
Full bodied with a smooth yet slightly dry mouthfeel
This beer has lost its former glory. Sometimes beers get lost in the cellar or fridge. This one is one of the last few beers a deceased friend gave me. I know he would want me to drink it but am sad at the same time.
