Golden Ale poured from a can into a 0.5L beer stein. The pour is golden in color with a little haze and 2 fingers of rocky white foam. Good retention. I get some light malty notes on the nose as well as a little lemon from the hops.
Light body with a firm feel and a crisp, refreshing flavor. I get fresh biscuit up front, then some lemon curd, honey, and a stony dry finish. Very well balanced with no objectionable qualities at all. Nothing too complex or pontificating here. It's just a pleasant summertime crusher well-suited to BMC drinkers who like to make fun of craft beer fans.
