Brut IPA brewed with Centennial, Mandarina Bavaria, and Amarillo hops with orange peels, oranges, blood oranges, and cherries added. Poured from a can into a Listermann pub glass. The pour is light amber with some distinct ruby-red hues, hazy, and sports about 2 fingers of rocky off-white foam with average retention. On the nose I get lots of oranges as well as lemongrass, champagne, and a hint of apple.
Medium-light body with a surprisingly balanced flavor. I thought this beer was going to be overly dry to start with and the addition of all the oranges would make it dowright pithy. I was wrong. The flavor is light and fruity with a wonderful balance between sweetness and bitterness. Up front the flavor is slightly grainy with hints of orange, then at mid-palate oranges, hops, and a hint of cherry all arrive in fine balance and harmony. I get a slight taste of ginger ale towards the back of the palate, then sadly the flavors die out and you are left with a finish that doesn't quite do this beer justice. Overall a splendid beer (can I use the word "splendid" in a beer review?). If I could change one thing I would make it hoppier in an attempt to prolong the finish a bit.

16 FL OZ can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass
This beer pours copper colored with burnt orange highlights. It is topped with a fleeting beige head.
Orange and cherry dominate the smell. It almost smells like pop.
The taste is cherry with some orange pop. The finish is dry.
Thin bodied and mouthfeel
This is my first brute IPA. It has interesting flavor. I will have to explore this style further to form an opinion. This beer is worth a try, but a single can was enough for this guy.
