Not sure why but I got a real garlic almost onion like hop flavor from this beer not that it ruined my drinking experience because this was still a very solid IPA. Very smooth and easy to put away plus the label has hippo facts! Not sure if it was only brewed once in February but if it was at 5 months later it is still drinking fantastic!

Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass
This beer pours a murky orangish yellow color. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves no lacing.
The aroma is medicinal with some citrus.
The flavor is tropical fruit with a medicinal finish.
Medium bodied with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel
This is a pretty solid beer. I would have enjoyed it more without the medicinal aspect. I checked the date on the bottom and am well within the "enjoy by" date.
