12 ounce bottle, no dating on it that I noticed. Served in a DFH Signature glass, the beer pours a dark brownish/red color with about an inch tan head that stuck around for a really long time. There's also a good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like cherries, dark fruit, red wine, vanilla, plums, caramel and a bit of clove. I think the taste pretty much follows the aroma, but there's also the addition of some dark bread, raisin and earthy flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit coating and creamy with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was pretty good, wish I would have bought some more. Definitely worth picking up! $10.99 a bottle.

The bottle art is interesting and the beer is too!
Poured into a tulip glass. Reddish dark amber color wth a decent initial head and good lacing. Smell of freshly picked cherries. The taste is very complex and varied. Certainly cherry and dark wine, plums, dark raisins, vanilla. A tad boozy, but what the heck! Comforting beer!
