Poured at fridge temp. Pours a super thick black with a thin layer of light brown head. The nose is a big peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Some chocolate on top of the nuts and raspberries, but not getting much else on the nose.

The taste is actually really good. I was expecting a pretty one-dimensional taste, but I actually get more than just the peanut butter and raspberry. Chocolate, molasses, roasted malts, slight black licorice, and brown sugar. Sweet, but not quite too sweet.

Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Aftertaste is dominated by sweet raspberry.

The beer poured dark in color. It smelled of peanut butter and raspberry. The mouthfeel was decent. The taste did not disappoint, was like eating/drinking a peanut butter and raspberry jelly sandwich. This beer was amazing, I do not recommend trying side by side with the barrel aged version, enjoy this one first the the barrel aged version.

Lighter black with brown edging and head. Peanut butter is the star of the nose, raspberry jam, chocolate and light roast support. Taste is really clean: peanut butter and raspberry jam sit atop a throne of lightly roasted malt, dull chocolate and vanilla. Feel is medium bodied, viscous, malty and has sweetness lingering on the finish but not to the point of cloying. Nice pb and j stout

August 2020 bottle date

L: A deep reddish-brown to black hue, with three heaping fingers of dark tan head (and a fourth quickly sipped up!). The foam settled down to a fender cap and nearby band of lace.

S: What hits first and strongest is the heaps of dry roasted peanuts, but at near equal fervor is the jammy sweet raspberry preserves. There is even somehow the aroma of wheat bread to complete the olfactory sandwich. Amazing!

T: The taste follows the nose, and while this is quite sweet the peanut acts as a drying influence on the palate as well, keeping this desserty stout on the rails.

F: Sticky sweet, creamy, and a solid body without being overly thick or at all syrupy. Excellent level of carbonation to keep it really approachable.

O: I did not expect much of a PB&J beer, most fail the peanut butter challenge, but WOW was I mistaken! This is better than the sandwich - a must try.

Scoring discrepancies is the pure replica of a legit peanut butter and jelly sandwich, in beer form. Sweet sticky peanut butter, jammy raspberry, and rounded out with a robust brown bread. At the moment, this is the king of beers in my realm.
You. Have. To. Find. This.

Listermann Brewing Company’s in collaboration with Bottle Logic Brewing’s Scoring Discrepancies 11.6% ABV. This Imperial Stout pours a deep dark brown color almost black with khaki mocha colored head that lingers for awhile before leaving some lacing on the glass. The aroma is of roasted peanut butter with raspberry jam hints of chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is of raspberry jam with hints of chocolate roasted malt and peanut butter along with some bread crust flavor tones of prunes figs raisins and dates add that good stout base along with sweetness and depth but the sweetness is kept in check by the raspberry tartness that this beer finishes with. The mouthfeel is creamy and thick mouth coating letting the flavors mingle on the palate the carbonation level is way too much definitely over carbonated it gushes out of the bottle when cracked open. Overall this is the best peanut butter/ jelly inspired beer I’ve ever had and it would be almost perfect if it wasn’t for the over carbonation that could make you lose most of this expensive beer plus the rarity level of it brings down the rating. 8/10

Purchased via Tavour. 2020 batch. Gusher. Over-carbed. Not bad, but bordering on infected tasting. Not worth the price. Not sure what went wrong here.

Thank you Sturgeon83 for this
12 oz bottle poured into a teku

A- Black with a massive mocha head. Bottle was a gusher, but got most of it in the glass.

S- Peanut butter, raspberry jam, chocolate, some roasted malts.

T- Raspberry jam, chocolate, roasted malts, peanut butter.

M- Smooth, medium to full body.

O- With how it gushed when I opened it I thought I might be infected but it smells and tastes great. Really well put together PB & J stout.

Matte black with a short but beautiful mocha blanket.

They really achieved that PB&J character, even down to the damn bread crust. Peanut butter wafer and mild raspberry jam come up in a nice froth, but all in good measure. It has a solid roasty stout base that is full and accented by a touch of a sort of brandy character which has me excited for the barrel aged version. This brings a little heat before the semi-dry finish.
