Served in a snifter
This beer pours very dark brown, It is topped with a fleeting tan head that leaves no lacing.
As with all Chickow! variants, hazelnut leads the way. I smelled the strawberry right away. As it warms the chocolate and vanilla become apparent while the strawberry subsides.
Now in the taste the chocolate and vanilla are at the forefront. The strawberry is subtle. The hazelnut comes rushing in through the middle and lingers into the finish.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
This might be my favorite Chickow! variant. All the flavors are there. It makes a delicious dessert beer.
