The Works pastry stout makes a return with a barrel aged variant. This one takes a rest in coconut rum barrels. The result is just as sweet as the base but much more depth from the aging. The rum is a bit lost.

Opened up and poured into my glass. Beer looked light in color. Smelled this beer and it immediately reeked of peanut butter, knew I was in for a surprise. Wouldn’t necessarily say this was thick but the mouthfeel was good. Then peanut butter started exploding in my mouth and my taste buds were overjoyed. Thank you Listermann.
