Served in a snifter
This beer pours really dark brown with some ruby highlights when held to the light. It is topped with a skim of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
There is the obvious hazelnut. I also get chocolate, hints of coffee and I swear I smell yellow cream.
Hazelnut, of course. I taste chocolate and coffee. I get something that resembles white cake.
Medium bodied with a velvety smooth mouthfeel
This is one of the better Chickow! variants. Even two years later it taste wonderful. It is a great dessert beer.
