From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter. This nice braggot pours a
cloudy brownish amber with a thin head of white foam
that sizzles out to a thin ring. Nose of rich wildflower honey
and touches of bourbon barrel with vanilla and floral notes.
Flavors display the same tastes but never before have I had
a brew with a prominent floral honey note...like elderflower
honey or clover with a nice bourbon barrel and wafting vanilla
essence with light touches of oak. An almost English mouth
feel; medium body, sticky sweet, subtly coating, lightly warming,
and finishing a touch on the dry yet sweet side.
A fine braggot, a style I am not totally familiar with let alone
enthused, yet this one hits the right notes....also improves
with light warmth. Very nice.
