12 ounce bottle into a snifter. Bottled 8/2019, had 5/21/20.
Pours near black and opaque, with a brief, short head and light spotty cling. Aromas of chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow, light bourbon, light coffee, some cocoa. Similar flavors- chocolate, much more bourbon than the nose, vanilla, marshmallow, malt, some coffee- more as it warms. Smooth, a solid full body that’s a little lighter, appropriately carbonated.
The chocolate and vanilla just explode in the aroma and flavor. The barrels are great in the flavor, but hard to find in the aroma. Focused, but well executed and really enjoyable.

Pitch black with a mocha cap. Smell: chocolate, vanilla, coffee with playful amounts of marshmallow and bourbon. Taste has bourbon and marshmallow actually lead, with serving coffee as an accenting bridge for the chocolate, vanilla kind of permeates through out and builds. Feel is boozy, warm, decently sludgy with sweetness, but finishes lighter and frothier. The wife liked it.
