Matte black with a pretty firm yet creamy mocha head dissipating beautifully to a thin blanketing chain.
Up front this actually has an apple flavor to it that's really nice, and something I've never experienced out of apply brandy barrel aged anything, let alone apple brandy itself. It's like accents of caramel apple over a dark chocolate and bakers cocoa body. A nice mild spirit presence runs throughout, as notes of light nutty nougat come out in the semi-dry, warming finish.
