A - Completely opaque pale orange body with a gray tint, the result looking something like fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. A short white head, sticky, which fades away, leaving a smudge of a white cast on the top and a bit of tiny fleck lacing,
S - Slightly off citrus, like aged orange juice that has sat in the fridge a touch too long. A bit of resin and pine hop also shines through. Nothing bad here - this smells pretty tasty.
T - And it is pretty tasty, delivering the citrus on the nose with other fruit notes, including banana and pineapple, and a mildly bitter finish, grapefruit juice and orange pith, a touch of zest, too.
M - Very soft feel, a bit of acidity, and a quiet close. The weight and heft of the beer is well hidden, and the result is quite drinkable.
O - One of the heavier NEIPAs I've had, this still stays true to its roots and delivers both soft full hop notes and lovely fruit aspects while clocking in well into the DIPA ABV range. It is not the best big NEIPA I've had, but it delicious, and I'm quite glad to have given this a try.
