Taster at brewery. Dark brown with spotty beige head. Roasty malt aroma, chocolate and a hint of maple. More maple notes in the taste, sweet, balanced and glowing warmth. Silky smooth. Stunning.

BA Eleven is just Listermann being Listermann. A definitive pastry stout with a waffle base and mapley cloak. The maple isn't a pure maple flavor which I like here. Sometimes pure maple can be too much.
