16oz can from Tavour. Orange golden, small foamy head. Pineapple in the aroma. Taste is more pineapple, tart citrus and subtle tropical notes. A notch above the New Image version.

Cloudy dark orange with a thick white head and lazy lacing. Pineapple and coconut float above moderate hops in the nose. Taste has the same stars but it is much harsher before mellowing out on the pineapple curd and coconut, hops are present but not sharply so, booze creeps in. Body has booze leakage into the cool adjunct body, hops are hazy but not primary molders, not sure I would know it is a neipa if I wasn't told

Virtual Tiki Party from Listermann is a pina colada inspired New England IPA. The pineapple and coconut are faint but there. This one is a main focus on the NE IPA style and it is straight to the point. Love the nod to virtual meetings.

A: The beer is hazy dark yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing on the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of coconut are present in the nose along with notes of pineapple.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of coconut along with sugary notes of pineapple. There are some underlying hints of spicy hops and bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really enjoyed the tropical nature of this IPA, which in some aspects seemed like more of a cocktail than a beer. It seemed a little under carbonated but did an excellent job at hiding any traces of alcohol from the taste.

16 oz can
Part one of a two-part collab with New Image.
Pours hazy golden orange. Yellowish white head is pillowy and dissipates to sudsy lacing.
Aroma of fresh citrus, pineapple, and coconut.
Flavor is of orange, pineapple, coconut, and sweet bready malts with a zesty hop finish.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
Very pleasant and easy drinking. Dangerous at 10%, definitely doesn't feel like it. Easy to like. I'll be interested to see how the New Image variant compares. This one is definitely worth trying.
