Served from the can in a Mickey Finn's shaker pint glass.
I'm a simple man: you show me some NBA Jam homages, I'll buy your beer. Worked for the earlier From Downtown. Anyway, this stuff pours a partly-cloudy sunset amber topped by a finger of glowing off-white foam. The nose comprises orange juice, light pineapple rind, honey, vanilla, and a twinge of cherry. The taste starts off with the usual milkshake stuff: smooth fruits blended with some milk sugar; things quickly take a bad turn when some cough syrup shows up with some burnt toast-like char. The combination of these elements does not work at all, though the flavors luckily don't malinger long. The body is a lithe medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a good idea poorly executed, the primary culprit being the inclusion of the cherry. I don't think I even realized chocolate was added, which is telling. This stuff just didn't work for me, dawg.
