12 ounce bottle, bottled September 2020 printed on the label. Served in a Teku, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good enough. The brew smells like dark chocolate, cream, caramel, bready malt and a bit of licorice. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some vanilla and earthy flavors noticeable. It's sweet, but nowhere as sweet tasting as I was expecting it to be. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. Wish I would have got to try this one fresher, but I just bought this bottle a couple weeks ago so there's still some out there. Certainly worth trying if you get the chance to!
