Appearance - The beer was dark brown in appearance with a crown of white bubbles at the top of the glass.
Smell - The general vibe was sweet with a chocolatey presence.
Taste - The profile was obviously sweet. Initially, the fudge stood out. However, the coconut was also very detectable. It was not overly sweet, but could easily qualify as a dessert beer.
Mouthfeel - To give you some perspective, I thought this was a stout initially. It has some viscosity.
Overall - I am a sucker for coconut beers.

Poured into a snifter, on tap at the brewery.
Appearance: Very dark brown, opaque, with a half inch light tan head that lingered, and left a light, adequate lacing.
Nose: Cocoa, coconut, vanilla, and cotton candy ā yep, very sweet.
Mouthfeel: Leaves a heavy coating in the mouth.
Attack: Very sweet, overwhelms any malt, hop, or alcohol flavor, nearly cloying.
Finish: A little dark roast, still buried under the sweet.
Overall: This is a very nice dessert beer, way too sweet for more than the 10-oz snifter I drank, but Iād order it again as a finish for a celebratory evening. The 10% alcohol, again, is well-buried ā this one would sneak up on you.
