Country lodge/ beerhall on the main drag on the north side of town. Sprawling open area with long straight bar opposite the side entrance, half service, half seating. Gift/ souvenir shop in front of building. Plenty of tables both inside and out. 14 beers on tap. Three food trucks along side. Lively spot.

Really, really enjoyed Raquette River Brewing. The building is gorgeous. It is like a big open and airy Adirondack style beer hall. Lots of wooden features. The place allows dogs in which is a plus. While they do not serve food directly, there are usually a couple food trucks parked right outside which offer great food at a reasonable price. Give them credit for having seventeen of their own beers on tap. Most were really good. I loved their hefe and their maple cream porter. Even the ones I did not like as much--Salted Caramel porter were very drinkable--they just did not match the description as well. Service was excellent and polite. We ended up spending a lot more time here than we thought we would--Very relaxing place.

Log cabin’like place on main drag on way out of town.
Rustic and dark inside.
Very nice and accommodating bar tender.
When I was there, they had some pretty good strong beers in bombers.
Good beer overall.
