On tap at the taproom.
Clean crystal brown, like a dark whiskey with minimal head and nice lacing on the glass.
Aroma showed oak, light fruits and some of the alcohol. New and intriguing.
Mid weighted mouthfeel on par with a bock. Right amount of carbonation let all the flavors come through.
Flavors of oak and banana and grape - no doubt from the chardonnay barrels - different and delicious.
Great variation on a weizenbock. Picked up a bottle to bring home to MN.

Weizenbock aged in Chardonnay barrels. How bizarre of a style is that? Well it works fantastically. Smells and tastes of clove, banana, booze soaked apples/pears, tons of esthers, phenols and malty bockness shining through and then the white wine complements well to elevate everything. This is a unique style and they pulled it off well.
