2021 Quincy Street bourbon barrel aged.
Muddy reddish-brown headless body glows a clear ruddy when backlit.
Aromas include banana yeast esters, light booze, dark bread, and stone fruit.
Flavors match with a caramel togetherness.
Mouthfeel is creamy and full with a slight alcohol lip tingle and booze warmth.
Overall a nice sipper.

Had on tap. Dark semi-clear brown with lacing. Belgian spices, tons of dark fruit, toasted toffee, and bready yeast in smell and taste. Smell focused more on the spices, taste more on the fruit, taste is more rewarding. Feel is smooth save some spice texture, bready, and warm. Clearly an american take on the style, but good work

22 ounce bottle into a goblet. Had 6/28/18.
Pours a dark amber, somewhat opaque, with a short head and a good amount of soapy cling. Aromas of grapes, plums, malt, dates, some figs, light wine and chocolate. The taste shows a little differently- grapes, malt, plums, caramel, some figs and dates, light currants. Smooth, lightly creamy, a good full body, well carbonated.
A strong effort on a mostly classic quad. The currants in the flavor give it a twist. Very enjoyable and worth a purchase.
