12oz draft pour shows a crystal clear dark Amber body floating a persistent 1/8" cap of cream colored tight bubbles and leaving random blobs of lacing.
Aroma is a hint of caramel with a strong malt back and the flavor matches.
Mouthfeel is a strong medium that clears the palate cleanly, if slightly dry, encouraging a sooner sip. To compare to the stronger Wee Willy's Heavy, the Piper is almost thin, but I appreciate that's not fair. Just a comparison between two similar, yet specifically different beers, especially as it relates to feel. Take away: Wee Willy's Heavy really hits the mark .
Overall a nice malt based easy drinker.

Had this on 2018-01-13 in Willow Springs, IL at the brewery
A - Clear bronze with a short off-white head
S - Mild caramel and cherry jam
T - Toasted raisin bread spread lightly with Nutella. Mild bitterness and sweetness.
M - Light-medium body and carbonation.
O - Quite enjoyed this.
