Maibock is a traditional German Lager brewed to celebrate Spring. It is lighter in color than other Bocks and more balanced, with less malt sweetness. Our version is brewed with Pilsner, Munich, and Vienna Malts for a nice golden color and a smooth malt flavor that is rich and flavorful but still very drinkable.

Draft at the brewery, served in a fluted pilsner glass.
Dark golden amber, good clarity. Still glassy surface.
Aroma is bready with an oddly lactic buttermilk note.
Creamy smooth, nutty malt flavor, minimal bitterness in the aftertaste.
Medium bodied, slightly astringent. Overall it's pretty good, not great.
