22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Bottled 5/12/16, had 12/31/16. Aged one year in Heaven Hill barrels, infused with cacao and coconut.
Pours a dark brown, opaque and oily looking, with no head and some spotty, oily lacing. The smell is roasted malts, bourbon, cocoa, chocolate, some coconut, oak, light vanilla, molasses. Awesome. Tastes of medium roast malts, bourbon, cocoa, vanilla, milk chocolate, coconut, caramel, some oak, less molasses than the nose. The flavor is as awesome as the aroma. Incredibly smooth for the ABV, a solid, full body, well carbonated.
A top notch Imperial Stout, complex and bursting with flavor and aroma. IO just gets better and better with their barrel aged beers.

Taste: bold dark malts with notes of cacao nibs, dark chocolate, coconut, vanilla rich and viscous. A touch of roasted hops and molasses. Black, opaque, with a dark tan head, stick lace. More than full body. thick with some alcohol kick. 94 IBUs
