22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Bottled 11/9/16, had 12/16/16. Aged 10 months in ex- sherry scotch barrels.

Pours a deep amber, somewhat opaque, with no real head and some spotty lacing. Smells awesome- scotch, malt, peat, smoke, caramel, toffee, oak, some figs and raisins, dates. Taste is awesome as well- malt, scotch- these seem like very unique barrels that were used, caramel, peat, raisins, dates, light smoke, oak, light cherries as it warms. Smooth, a solid, medium body, well carbonated.

This is an excellent effort. Well aged in barrels that are unique and incredible. The flavors and aromas are deep and complex. This is one of Imperial Oak's best.
