22 ounce bottle into a chalice. Bottled 9/18/17, had 10/6/17.
Pours a dark amber, mostly opaque, with no real head and some light, spotty lacing. Aromas of brandy, oak, vanilla, malt, vanilla, white chocolate, dates. Smells great. The taste follows along- brandy, vanilla, oak, malt, dates, raisins, some chocolate, some white chocolate, light alcohol. Tastes great. Smooth, somewhat creamy, a solid but lighter body for the style, well carbonated.
Liked this better in the bottle than on tap. The brandy barrels are excellent, great flavor and aroma. This is one of my favorite efforts from IO. Glad I have a few left.
