22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Aged one year in Jamaican Rum barrels. Bottled 12/8/17, had 12/16/17.
Pours a dark brown, mostly opaque, with only a flash of a head and specks of lacing. Aromas of rum, malt, caramel, chocolate, prunes, figs, dates. Smells great. The taste is rum, malt, chocolate, prunes, lighter caramel, a little oak. Smooth, a good medium to full body, appropriately carbonated but on the lighter side.
The rum is excellent, great aroma, well developed flavors. Another really solid effort from IO.

Taste: bold dark spiced rum, sticky, semi sweet, oak, malty, vanilla, cocoa, boozy notes. Nice nose of dark rum. Black/Brown, mostly opaque, not much head due to barrel aging. Full body. Complex with a warming finish. 32 IBUs
