Had on tap. Lighter brown cloudy body, no head. Smelled of raisin, vanilla, dried cherry, bourbon, wood, barley, caramel, oak and toffee. Taste is all of those with the oak tannins coming out more and the dark fruit really embracing the bourbon in the finish. Feel is thin but not syrupy, very warm, borders on sweet, goes down easy

22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Bottled 4/19/18, had 5/4/18.
Pours a cloudy medium amber, with a half inch quickly dissipating head and some spotty lacing. Aromas of bourbon, cherries, plums, raisins, oak, malt, some toffee and vanilla. The taste pretty much follows along- bourbon, cherries, plums, malt, raisins, dates, some oak and caramel, light vanilla. Smooth, a good medium body, well carbonated.
Certainly barrel forward, but still well balanced. The Woodford barrels are great in both the aroma and flavor. A very enjoyable English Barleywine.
