22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Bottled 4/19/18, had 5/12/18.
Pours a somewhat cloudy medium amber, with a half inch quickly dissipating head and some spotty lacing. Aromas of apples, white grapes, wheat, some port, malt, light wine, a little vanilla. The taste is more barrel forward- port, malt, white grapes, some wine, wheat, light apples, light orange. Smooth, a good medium body, well carbonated.
A very good example of the style, great aroma and flavor. The Port barrels add character, but don’t dominate. Very enjoyable.
