12 ounce can into a snifter. Had 11/30/19. Missing a can, so guess I had it earlier, too. Also had on tap.
Pours near black and opaque, thick looking, with no real head and a few specks of cling. Aromas of chocolate, coconut, cocoa, light rum- more as it warms, tobacco, oak, prunes, malted milk balls, malt, some figs, light char. Flavors of coconut, rum- again, more as it warms, malted milk balls, chocolate, cocoa, prunes, less tobacco than the aroma. Smooth, a little creamy, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
The rum has mellowed since I had it on tap at the release in 6/2018. The coconut shows well, lots of chocolate variations. Delicious.

Had on tap. The rum barrel was very aggressive in both the nose and taste. Not necessarily a bad thing, especially since the coconut is also unrelenting. Leaves little room for interpretation, it is all ready to board the pirate ship!
