22 ounce bottle into a tulip glass. Bottled 8/17/18, had 9/21/18.

Pours a hazy apricot, with a one and a half inch foamy head and spotty foamy lacing. Aromas of tequila, Belgian yeast, light malt, some agave, light spices, a hint of vanilla. The flavor is more barrel forward: tequila, malt, agave, some Belgian yeast, light spices. Smooth, a good medium body, well carbonated.

Well executed barrel aging on a solid base beer. While it’s pretty straightforward and not overly complex, the flavor is excellent. The barrels are fairly dominant, but don’t overwhelm. Great aroma, too.

This was unnecessarily harsh in the tequila barrel aging. For instance the smell is straight tequila with a touch of honey and grains. Taste is similar with more yeast and honey, but still no semblance of balance. Feel has alcohol burn on the finish.
Nice honeycomb golden appearance, tequila barrel couldn't take that away.
