22 ounce bottle into a tulip glass. Bottled 8/2018, had 4/20/19.
Pours a darker golden color, a little cloudy, with a one and a half inch foamy head and foamy lacing. Aromas of tequila, lime, Belgian yeast, malt, apples, faint spices. Flavors of tequila, sea salt, lime, malt, some Belgian yeast, apples, light orange. Smooth, a very good light to medium body, well carbonated.
Mostly as good as the straight tequila barrel version. While the salt and lime show well, the salt maybe too much. Not sure the add- ins add a lot, but it’s still really good.

So this was better than the tequila barrel aged in that the orange, honey, and salt cut into the hot tequila booze a bit, making it more drinkable. Little sweet, little salty, lots of boozy. Smell is the same. Supporting elements make the feel smooth and cooler, though the alcohol burn is still there on the finish. Passable but still nothing to seek out
