12 ounce can into a goblet. Canned 9/13/18, had 10/24/19. Also had on tap at release.
Pours a cloudy ruby/mahogany, with no head and no lacing. Aromas of cinnamon, brandy, toffee, almonds, malt, some grapes and dates, light tobacco and oak, light butterscotch, a spicy aroma. Flavors of cinnamon, brandy, malt, almonds, caramel, dates, some tobacco, some butterscotch, light oak. Smooth, a good medium body, appropriately carbonated.
The cinnamon, almonds and brandy work incredibly well with this base quad. Should have had a can sooner than this, but it’s still about as good as it was on tap on day one. Very different and enjoyable.
