A bit harsh and dominated by the coffee after 1 year in the cellar, tons of burn from the bourbon upon finishing each sip.

12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 6/1/19, had 2/21/20. Also had on tap 3-4 times.
Pours a dark brown, opaque, with a half inch quickly dissipating head and some cling. Aromas of bourbon, coffee, oak, char, chocolate, raisins, some vanilla, light caramel and tobacco. Flavors of bourbon, coffee, oak, vanilla, chocolate, raisins, some molasses. Smooth, a solid full body, well carbonated.
The barrels and coffee are excellent, great aromas and flavors overall. Really well balanced between the barrels and the base, so that both stand out. Really enjoyable.

Had on tap. Smell is the wonderful marriage of bourbon, chocolate and coffee, no frills and messing around. Taste is the exact same, plus some plum and cola underneath, finish is huge roasted coffee more than bourbon. Feel has good percolation from the coffee, plus bourbon barrel smoothness. All around great ba coffee stout
