12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 7/27/19, had 1/15/20.
Pours a cloudy orange/apricot, with a quarter inch head and some filmy cling. Aromas of wine, some grapes, a hint of grape must, light yeast, malt, a little oak, some orange and light black pepper fully warmed. Has a spicy aroma. Flavors of wine, grapes, malt, spices, some vanilla and oak, some apples, some orange- kind of like bergamot. Smooth, a very good medium body, appropriately carbonated.
This is really well done. The Cabernet barrels are excellent with the base beer. Expressive flavors and aromas. Very enjoyable.
