look: 4.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75
Had on tap. Viscous black with a thick tan collar. Smell has plenty of cinnamon amongst the bourbon, dark chocolate, roasted malt, maple, oak and earth, pecans are lost. Taste is very boozy, with the nuts and cinnamon adding another jarring flavor to compare with, raucous clashing of these flavors up top cascade below into the supporting flavors from the smell. Assertive and powerful, but not well balanced. Feel is boozy, harsh, wood laden, and has good cinnamon spunk, but again is at war with itself. Love parts but the whole is disappointing
