12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 3/14/20, had 4/6/20. Also had on tap.
Pours near black and opaque, with a half inch foamy head and soapy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, light roast malt, oak, some chocolate, light molasses, faint toffee. Similar flavors- bourbon, vanilla, oak, malt, chocolate, a little caramel. Smooth, a solid full body, well carbonated.
Delicious. The Weller barrels are incredible and give off so much vanilla. An excellent beer.
