12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 1/25/20, had 3/24/20. Also had on tap.
Pours a dark brown, mostly opaque, with a half inch head and light foamy lacing. Aromas of rum, cinnamon, chocolate, malt, oak, some almonds and vanilla. Flavors of rum, cinnamon, malt, more almonds than the nose, vanilla, oak, chocolate. Smooth, a little creamy, a very good full body- maybe a touch light, well carbonated.
A really solid effort. Great rum barrels, the cinnamon noticeably stands out, the almonds subtly stand out. Fairly focused, but expressive. It was even a little better on tap.
