12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 2/15/20, had 4/30/20.
Pours a dark brown, mostly opaque, with a short head and some light, foamy cling. Aromas of bourbon, oak, chocolate, vanilla, char, caramel, malt, some leather. The flavor is bourbon forward, with vanilla, oak, char, chocolate, malt, caramel, some leather. Smooth, a decent fuller body that’s a little thin, appropriately carbonated.
Great barrels that give up a lot of wood and the vanilla shows well. It does feel a little thin and that undercuts the flavor a little. Really enjoyable, though.
