12oz can poured into a snifter shows an opaque muddy, orangish-brown body whose wispy cap of cocoa powder brown bubbles disappears as soon as it forms and leaves nothing on the glass.

Aromas include oak, vanilla, leather, cherries, and grape tannins.

Flavors match with more buttery toffee as it comes up to temperature.

Mouthfeel is full, silky and soft.

Overall a nice sipper with a cigar.

12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 5/1/20, had 5/5/20.

Pours a darker amber, semi opaque, with a quarter inch foamy head and sparse foamy cling. Aromas of bourbon, port, vanilla, oak, malt, some toffee, light cherries. Flavors of bourbon, port, vanilla, oak, malt, raisins, light cherries. Smooth, a solid medium body, well carbonated.

Boy, this is good. The bourbon and port- like aromas and flavors are incredible. Overall, it really seems like a port made with grape brandy. The barrels also give up a lot of vanilla, too. Can’t wait to see how it ages. A big effort from IO.
