12oz can poured into a tulip glass shows a muddy-brown body that, when backlit, glows a clear, bright copper-orange body and briefly supports a thin cap of dirty-white mixed bubbles and leaves a clean glass behind.
Rum barrel aromas dominate including molasses, vanilla, oak, and stone fruit.
Flavors favor caramel with barrel notes deep in the nose.
Mouthfeel is silky and full with a clean finish.
Overall a fine sipper to enjoy with a cigar.

12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 5/1/20, had 6/3/20.
Pours a darker amber, semi opaque, with a quarter inch foamy head and light foamy lacing. Aromas of rum, malt, caramel, some vanilla, light cherries, light oak and char, a little brown sugar. Similar flavors- rum, caramel, malt, oak, some vanilla, light cherries and grapes, light brown sugar, a general spiciness. Smooth, a very good medium body, well carbonated.
Certainly barrel forward, especially in the aroma, but still manages to be pretty delicious. Excellent barrels, lots of expressive notes in the flavor. Very enjoyable.
