12 ounce can into a goblet. Released 9/10/20, had 9/28/20.
Pours a darker copper color, semi opaque, with a quarter inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, grapes, oak, malt, some plums, some caramel and toffee. Smells terrific. Tastes pretty terrific, too. Flavors of bourbon, vanilla, grapes, oak, malt, some caramel. Smooth, a very good medium body, well carbonated.
The Basil Hayden barrels are excellent and go well with the solid base quad- although it doesn’t seem quite as robust as usual. Solid effort, really enjoyable.
