12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 6/26/20, had 7/29/21.
Pours near black and opaque, with a quickly dissipating quarter inch foamy head and a little foamy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, oak, leather, chocolate, roasted malt, some char, some molasses. Like flavors- bourbon, leather, oak, roasted malt, char, some chocolate- more as warms, some vanilla. A light bitterness, some alcohol warming. Mostly smooth, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.
Really enjoyable. Has a big barrel presence, lots of wood, a terrific, expressive base. Not for the timid, this rocks your palate.
