6oz draft in a snifter shows an opaque cola color with a reddish tint at the edge when backlit with active carbonation. Lonely bubbles briefly float atop before retreating to the edge and leaving a clean glass behind.

Intoxicating rum and bourbon aromas rise from the glass highlighting molasses, oak, vanilla, roasted coffee beans, tobacco, ash, and cocoa beans.

The taste matches with the expected booze warmth on the lips and tongue. There's a nice dark, stone fruit flavor under the sugar. ( Where's my cigar?)

Mouthfeel is smooth, full, and wet, just short of creamy, but a tasty, warm film coats the tongue leaving a desire for more as it dries.

Overall a real sipper. Great to have this at the new Brookfield location, the Giant is always a winner, and I can't wait for the 2021.

12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 6/26/20, had 11/6/20.

Pours a dark brown, opaque, with a brief flash of a head and some spotty cling. Aromas of bourbon, oak, char, prunes, molasses, chocolate, some leather, some rum as it warms. Mostly similar flavors- bourbon, oak, some char, chocolate, malt, leather, molasses, prunes, faint rum- but again, more as it warms. Smooth, a solid full body, well carbonated.

A really solid effort. Lots of expressive aromas and flavors. The rum barrels are lighter than the bourbon barrels, but they show fairly well.
