12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 6/26/20, had 3/11/21.
Pours near black and opaque, thick looking, with a short head and light foamy cling. Aromas of vanilla, bourbon, chocolate, some cinnamon and raisins, malt, some oak, light char and molasses. Similar but a little more intense flavors- bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, some cinnamon, malt, molasses, some raisins, light alcohol warming. Smooth, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.
The chocolate and vanilla are excellent and the cinnamon has a solid supporting role. The barrels are good but seem to be a little tempered from the add- ins. Really enjoyable, a great variant.
