Imperial Oak Brewing "Obi-Weiss Kenobi"
6€/pint on tap @ Black Lodge, Firenze, IT on 25 September 2019
Look: Very hazy but not quite "cloudy". Amber orange in color with golden highlights beneath a standard sized head of bright white. Better than average head retention and lacing but at the same time kind of limited for a weizen.
Smell: Soft notes of banana, apple, pear, and mild spicy phenolics over a sweetish, wheaty malt base.
Taste: Sweetish wheat malt with some banana, apple, and mildly floral and grassy hops. A low level bitterness balances it and it finishes lightly sweet and mild.
Feel: Light-medium in body and crisp.
Overall: A mild, pleasant, and super easy to drink hefeweizen.
