12 ounce can into a goblet. Released 9/24/21, had 1/30/22.
Pours a ruddy, darker amber, fairly opaque, with a short head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of cinnamon, almond, vanilla, malt, amaretto, light bourbon, caramel as it warms. The flavor is more bourbon forward, then almond, vanilla, malt, amaretto, some cinnamon. Smooth, a good medium body that’s a little light for the style, appropriately carbonated.
Very enjoyable. Lots of almond and the cinnamon is present, but tamed. The barrels don’t show as well as in the straight BA version, but they’re sufficient. Seems like the add- ins thin the body a little.
